He sings about how she has the strength and beauty to make it in the city and that he will always be there for her. The song was later released as a single in 1972 and was certified gold in the United States on 19 May 2005, platinum on 19 August 2011 and 3× platinum on 26 April 2018 by the Recording Industry Association of America.
